Geographical area
The communes where the production of an appellation takes place.
The geographical area of an appellation is the list of communes where the grapes may be harvested and the wine made and aged.
Within it, the delimited plot area designates the plots recognised as suitable for producing the appellation. This is the area drawn on this site's map, from INAO data.
